子供の時の友達

私の名前はフェニックスです。今日は子供の時の友達について話しています。ちゅうがっこうの時、私は二人の日本人の学生に会いました。二人の名前はりなさんとひろむさんです。りなさんはお父さんがとよたの仕事だから、ケンタッキーにひっこしてきました。その年私たちは友だちになり、授業のあとでいっしょうに家に帰りました。夏に私とおとうとは、よくりなさんのおたくにあそびに行きました。時々、私たちはりなさんの犬とさんぽに行きました。私はよく、”犬は日本語を話しますか？英語？犬語？”　と思いました。今でも、わかりません。りなさんの家族と話した時間は、みじかかったですが、私とおとうとは色々な本のことをおしえてもらいました。私たちは日本の料理を食べたり、日本語をならったり、かっこいい日本のしゃしんを見たりしましたから、外国には楽しそうでした。私のゆめは今、世界を見ることでした。夏に毎日りなさんといっしょうに外に出て、ゲームをしました。お父さんの仕事のかんけいで夏のあとでりなさんは日本に帰らなければいけませんでした。 私とおとうとはとてもなかなしくて、さびしかったですが、日本につよいきょうみをもつようになりました。それから、ちゅうがくせいの時から、今まで、日本語をまなびたいと思っていました。それで、今、私のせんこうは日本語で、おとうとも高校で日本語を勉強しています。しょうらい、私は日本語を話せるようになり、日本に行って、日本のことをもっとまなびたいです。私はりなさんとひろむさんに会えてとてもうれしかったです。

Childhood Friends.

My name is Phoenix. Today I am talking about my childhood friends. In middle school, I met two Japanese students. Their names were Rina and Hiromu. Rina moved to Kentucky because of her father's job at Toyota. That year we became friends and after class we returned home together. In the summer my brother and I often went to Rina's house to play. Sometimes, we would go for a walk with Rina's dog. I often thought, does the dog speak Japanese? English? Dog? I still do not know. I had a short time talking with Rina's family, but my brother and I learned a lot about Japan. We ate Japanese food, learned Japanese and saw cool pictures of Japan, so it seemed fun in other countries. My dream was now to see the world. Every day that summer Rina and I went outside together and played games. After the summer because of her dad's work, Rina had to return to Japan. My brother and I were sad and lonely, but we became very interested in Japan. Then, since I was a middle school student, I have always wanted to learn Japanese. So now, my major is Japanese, and my brother is also studying Japanese in high school. In the future, I want to be able to speak Japanese, go to Japan, and learn more about Japan. I am very glad to have met my friends Rina and Hiromu.
